Leisure Support Programs

Smart Office and Long Vacations

To facilitate workhour efficiency and work-life balance for employees, we are running a Smart Office system, which includes the high-focus workhour scheme, overtime prior consultation system and a flexible clock-in/out system aligned with global workhours. We also allow employees to take long vacations during the summer and winter time and encourage them to take refresher vacations to ensure they get sufficient rest and the time to recharge themselves.

Support for Backpacking Trips to the US/Canada and Europe

We financially support employees’ backpacking trips to the US/Canada and Europe to help them build a global mindset and broaden their global horizons.

Training and Self-Development Programs

Training centers and technology education centers equipped with cutting-edge training and lecture rooms are used to support skill-building and self-development of our employees. We also help our employees acquire knowledge and technical skills through training at educational institutions at home and abroad, universities as well as through corporate training and cyber courses. To promote health and well-being of employees, we also built a company welfare center with a pool, gym and other sport facilities.

Doosan Festival

We offer diverse programs at the Doosan Festival, including family engagement cultural activities and sports events, all of which are arranged to create a lively and pleasant work environment and strengthen ties between colleagues and families.

Childcare Support Programs

Dormitory for the Seoul region

We run an apartment dormitory for children of employees who attend colleges in Seoul to ease their residential cost burden and create a safe learning environment.

Childcare Facilities

We run childcare facilities to promote work-life balance and reduce employees’ burden of childcare.

Student Grants

We maintain a tuition grant program for the children of our employees, providing grants for pre-schoolers, elementary, middle and high school students, as well as college students.

Total Funeral Service

A total funeral service package is provided as part of financial aid and mental health service for the bereaved.

We run a company clinic for employees to promote their health and well-being at the workplace.

Vaccinations to Prevent Seasonal Flu and Swine Flu

To promote the health and welfare of employees and their family members, we provide vaccination programs for the seasonal flu and swine flu. We send medical staff to areas where many Doosan families live for the vaccination.

Healthcare Program

We operate a comprehensive healthcare program for accident prevention and disease management, which includes comprehensive medical check-ups, health promotion programs, vaccinations, hygiene management and medical care cooperative arrangements.

Financial Support for Surgeries and Insurance Policies

To safeguard our employees’ health, we offer comprehensive health check-ups every year to all our employees and subsidize costs of any unforeseen illness requiring surgery. In addition, we offer group term insurance plans for all employees to financially help out our employees and their family in the event of any unexpected accident.

Housing and Loans

We offer company housing and dormitories for employees who do not own housing or who are single as well as low-rate housing loans through the company’s labor welfare fund. In addition, we allow employees to take out loans through our company Community Credit Cooperative using a simple procedure.

Transportation Support Program

We run commuter buses and provide transportation stipends to work locations adjacent to subway stations.
