Doosan Day of Community Service

In an effort to fulfill its social responsibilities as a corporate citizen and promote the sustainable development of the local communities, Doosan has been holding the “Doosan Day of Community Service” every year since 2014, with the full support and engagement of the employees at all its global affiliates.

Programs in Changwon Region

In addition to our flagship CSR program, “Clean Changwon with Doosan,” we carry out close to 30 programs, which include cleaning up the local surroundings, painting wall murals, fixing up rural areas, executing the Clean House project and maintaining urban parks. We also have a special program called the “Happy Furniture Making Project,” a project that is carried out with the full participation of local stakeholders.

Programs in Seoul Region

We have around 10 programs carried out in the Seoul region, including the “Clean Seocho with Doosan” project, which involves cleaning up the areas along the Banpocheon Stream and Yangjaecheon Stream, as well as projects such as maintaining urban parks, painting wall murals and designing T-shirts to donate.

Overseas Programs

Similar efforts are being carried out by our overseas subsidiaries in 10 countries, such as by Doosan Babcock and Doosan Enpure in the U.K., Doosan Lentjes in Germany, Doosan Skoda Power in the Czech Republic, Doosan Vina in Vietnam and DPSI in India, as well as by our affiliates in the U.S., Saudi Arabia and Oman. Around a total of 20 CSR programs are being operated, such as improving the environment of local elementary schools, cleaning up the surroundings of local communities, launching medical camps and carrying out Food Bank volunteer work.
