Five-day Work Week and Long-Term Vacation Program
For the better quality of life of employees, we operate the five-day work week system. We also allow employees to take a long-term vacation in summer or winter in addition to regular summer vacation to support a healthy life.

We support for employees’ backpacking trips to the Americas and Europe to help them build a global mindset and broaden experiences around the world.
Training and Self-Development Programs
Training centers and technology education centers equipped with cutting-edge training and lecture rooms are used to support skill-building and self-development of our employees. We also help our employees acquire knowledge and technical skills through training at educational institutions at home and abroad, universities as well as through corporate training and cyber courses. To promote health and well-being of employees, we also built a company welfare center with a pool, gym and other sport facilities.
Culture and Liberal Arts Programs
A variety of cultural programs are offered to employees and their family members to allow them to make good use of their spare time as well as improve knowledge. These programs include special lectures useful in daily lives (investment, retirement planning, child education, etc.), cultural performance programs and family programs.
We hold Doosan Festival in spring and autumn to create a lively and pleasant working environment and strengthen ties between colleagues and families. Doosan Festival offers diverse programs, including an event for children, filial piety performance, silver party, cultural activities, cheer up event, vision resolution rally, track meet, climbing competitions and more.
Childcare Support Programs
Dormitory for the Seoul region
We run an apartment dormitory for children of employees who attend colleges in Seoul to ease their residential cost burden and create a safe learning environment.
We run childcare facilities to promote work-life balance and reduce employees’ burden of childcare.
We maintain a scholarship grant program for children of employees, providing full tuition coverage for middle and high school students, as well as college students.
Total Funeral Service
A total funeral service package is provided as part of financial aid and mental health service for the bereaved.
Medical and Insurance Programs
We run a company clinic and physical therapy facilities for employees to promote healthy life at work.
Vaccinations to Prevent Seasonal Flu and Swine Flu
To promote the health and welfare of employees and their family members, we provide vaccination programs for the seasonal flu and swine flu. We send medical staff to areas where many Doosan families live for the vaccination.
We operate a comprehensive healthcare program for accident prevention, disease management including treatment of chronic illnesses as well as aquarobic classes, anti-smoking campaign, dietary management and medication-assisted treatment.
Financial Support for Surgeries and Insurance Policies
We conduct annual comprehensive health check-ups and subsidize costs of any unforeseen illness requiring surgery (up to 15 million won). In addition, we offer group term insurance plans for all employees to financially help them and their family members in the event of an unexpected accident.
Housing and Loans
We offer company housing and dormitories for employees who do not own housing or who are single as well as low-rate housing loans through the company’s labor welfare fund. In addition, we allow employees to take out loans through our company Community Credit Cooperative using a simple procedure.
Transportation Support Program
We run commuter buses and provide transportation stipends to work locations adjacent to subway stations.
